We built a desktop application that uses AI segmentation to split stills into depth-separated layers and animates them with cinematic 3D parallax automatically, turning a half-day of manual work into minutes.

The studio needed to keep their creative standards while removing the manual labour underneath them. We delivered one-click subject extraction using the Segment Anything Model, automated layer-depth estimation for realistic camera movement, native handling of RAW formats including CR3, ARW, and TIFF, and hardware-accelerated export to H.265 and ProRes.
Traditional parallaxing is labour-intensive. Designers spent two to four hours per image in Photoshop and After Effects masking by hand, cloning out backgrounds, and keyframing motion. The studio could not scale that service to hundreds of products without quadrupling its design team.
Integrating the Segment Anything Model cut masking from about an hour to under five seconds. A custom GPU compositor built on OpenCV and CUDA gives lag-free parallax previews, a proprietary background inpainting algorithm fills the holes left when a subject is pulled forward, and the FFmpeg backbone uses NVIDIA NVENC to encode ten times faster than realtime.
Producing a premium motion ad fell from four hours to twelve minutes per image. That twentyfold efficiency gain let the studio lower prices and raise volume, driving a 60 percent year-over-year revenue increase in its social media department, with clients reporting three times higher click-through than static photography.
